Audrain Automotive Museum Coverage

The Audrain is known for collecting and showcasing rare and impactful vehicles. Cars within their network are rotated quarterly so visitors of the museum are able to enjoy a variety of legendary automobiles. We went to Newport to check out their “What’s the SUPER in Supercars” exhibition.

When you walk in the door you’re greeted by a 1995 McLaren F1 and a 2020 McLaren 620R. British Racing Green is a great choice for F1.

They're followed by a sharp 1991 Ferrari F40 and wide 1988 Porsche 959S that perfectly contrast each other. The white on white Porsche flexes the perfect amount of flare.

A 1998 Vector W8 is displayed in the corner. This angular American Supercar from the 80’s has intricate wipers to match its hexagonal windshield. There’s one motorcycle in the collection and it’s none other than the 2020 Ducati Superlegga V4. We loved the timeless racing livery it sported.

The 2019 Bugatti Chiron Sky View is loud in yellow and blue. The tan interior is questionable, but the 1500HP W16 more than makes up for how this model is spec’d out.

Our personal favorite was the 1998 Merced-Benz CLK StaBeneversion. The entire skeleton of the car can be removed and it features integrated air jacks for track maintenance. You have to see the car in person to appreciate how long and wide it truly is.

We hope you enjoyed our coverage of the “What’s the SUPER in Supercars” exhibition at the Audrain Automotive Museum, and that you visit to see the collection in person!
